Did you know the sky was filled with beautiful things like this? This image was taken with our telescope and is a close-up view of the Rosette Nebula.
What you're seeing below is a bunch of gases interacting with each other and likely forming new stars too. The blue gas is mostly made of Oxygen, the rest is made of Hydrogen. It gets all that brightness from the cluster of stars you can see near the top!
We used our telescope from both our backyard and the desert to image this object for a total of 20 hours! In the end, the result looks incredible and full of colors!
